SwissLink Higher Institute of Business and Technology (SHIBAT)

SwissLink Higher Institute of Business and Technology (SHIBAT), headquartered in Kumba, South West Region of Cameroon, is a forward-thinking institution blending Swiss and Cameroonian academic excellence. We offer HND programs under the Ministry of Higher Education and degree programs in collaboration with the University of Bamenda, using a mentorship model to ensure both academic rigor and practical experience.

SwissLink is dedicated to revolutionizing education in Cameroon by integrating academics, entrepreneurship, and technology. We prepare students to become influential leaders on both national and international stages.

Our technological strength is highlighted by our key role in the Swiss-Africa Cyber Security Community, connecting top African and Swiss universities. This partnership allows us to prepare students to tackle global challenges in digital security.

In entrepreneurship, we collaborate with Switzerland’s Turacos: Business Ideation and Innovation Institution, providing students with hands-on experiences, internships, and exposure to international business innovation. Through these collaborations, we ensure our students gain the skills and global perspectives needed for success in a competitive market.

Dr. Carlson Eyongabi Ngwa was, on the 23rd May, 2017, authorisation to create and open SwissLink Higher Institute of Business And Technology (SHIBAT) which runs HND programmes in the domains of  Management, Business Studies & Legal Careers (School of business), Engineering and Technology and Education and Professional Development.
